  • Kitsap County residents only
  • Residential tenants only – no commercial/business tenants
  • Advice on how to represent yourself (some attorneys my provide limited negotiation or representation) for low-income tenants facing eviction

 WHAT WE DO

Provide FREE legal assistance including:

  • Legal advice for eligible low income tenants facing eviction
  • Help answering eviction paperwork
  • Negotiation with landlords for eligible tenants facing eviction
  • Representation of eligible tenants at eviction (show cause) hearings
  • Referral and resource information

WHAT WE DO NOT DO

  • Help tenants who do not meet low-income eligibility guidelines
  • Help landlords (help available at regular clinics)
  • Help commercial/business tenants
  • Help those living outside Kitsap County
  • Help with cases other than eviction
  • Provide on-going representation
  • Give legal advice over the phone

Kitsap County Superior Courthouse, Second Floor Room 250, Friday 8:30 am – 10:30 am (must check in prior to 10:00am) and there is no guarantee that an attorney will be able to see you or assist you. People with court this morning are given priority.
